Temporary Menu, NEDS 2.0 Updates & More

Hi everyone, we hope you all had a great Thanksgiving!

We have plenty of NEDS 2.0 news for you. Before we start on that, there are a few other things we’d like to update you all on! We recently introduced a temporary menu to try out a few items. We have two new sandwiches- the Cuban & Beef Brisket. The Cuban Sandwich has fresh pulled pork & sliced ham, covered in swiss cheese and sliced pickles with your choice of mustard, all in between a pretzel bun. This is available until December 20^th! The Beef Brisket Sandwich is limited and once it’s gone, it won’t be back! We use tasty brisket and cover it in Boogie BBQ sauce with a side of cole slaw. The North Ender Dog is 1/4lb beef hot dog smothered in Coney sauce, pickles & onions. This is also available until December 20^th. The Pickle Pizza was a huge hit amongst our customers, and we are thinking of keeping it on the menu! 

Ruby Red Bird by Shiner Brewing, a grapefruit infused lager,has recently been introduced on tap, as well as Bell’s Christmas Ale which is replacing Two Hearted.

BLACK FRIDAY & SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY SPECIALS! Today and tomorrow ONLY we are offering $2 single dishes of ice cream and regular cones, $3 glasses of sangria (red or white) and $5 glasses of wine (red or white).

Now onto the good stuff…

NEDS 2.0

Last Monday the future elevator footings and base were installed. As of the 16^th, all of our underground plumbing and electrical were completed AND inspected! A few days later, all of the pipes and conduits were finished, capped and were covered with soil (as needed). The next day, on the 20^th, the ground was packed down and leveled, and concrete reinforcement and floor forms were installed. As of this Wednesday, the main floor was poured and covered with tarps to protect them from the upcoming weather. Next week the lumber and framing crew will begin working and the walls will begin to go up!

We have made quite a bit of progress over the past month, and are very excited for what’s to come!
